Laylat al-Qadr, "better than a thousand months" (Surah Al-Qadr, 97:3), is hidden within the last ten nights of Ramadan. Most scholars point to the odd nights as the most likely.
Laylat al-Qadr marks the night the Qur'an began its revelation to Prophet Muhammad ๏ทบ. Worship on this single night outweighs worship over a thousand months.
The Prophet ๏ทบ instructed the Companions to seek it in the odd nights of the last ten nights of Ramadan โ most commonly the night of the 27th, though scholars differ.

"O Allah, You are Most Forgiving, and You love forgiveness, so forgive me." (Tirmidhi)
Night numbering above follows the Hijri calendar day beginning at Maghrib, which is how Islamic nights are traditionally counted โ e.g. "the night of the 27th" is the night that leads into the 27th day.
